Description: Marine Model Company Inc. U.S. Frigate Constitution Wood Ship Model No. 1093 Vintage, unassembled, wooden ship model kit in original box. Made by the Marine Model Company, Inc. in Halesite, Long Island, New York. Based on the paperwork included, I am guessing the kit is circa late 1950s, but can't be sure. Kit looks in very nice shape. I think it's just been stashed away for over 50 years. Solid wood hull is in excellent condition and the metal parts are still within their separate box within the original packing materials. There is a lot of original paperwork in the kit as well, instructions and blueprints, all in very nice condition; I only took pictures of some of the paperwork included. The box is structurally sound and in good shape; the only defect is someone handwrote in permanent marker on the box and they are remnants of old tape. Please see pictures for details of the kit contents and condition. Very nice vintage kit for the experienced model building looking for a challenge.
