Description: Description: this is an authentic, USGI, M1 Garand Barrel from a World War Two rifle that I machined to make a cutaway display model. I included a projectile/bullet from that era. The barrel is date stamped 1 –S–A –9–43 . that means that this barrel was made by Springfield Armory in September 1943. You can see the rifling inside. After grinding, I polished the cutaway surface smooth with a diamond dust impregnated wheel. I then sprayed the machine surfaces with two coats of clear lacquer, to inhibit rust. This would make a very nice teaching tool or display item on a plaque. This came from a drill rifle I purchased from the CMP long ago. Condition :It is in a very good shape considering it is from the World War II era. It has its original finish. I shouldn’t have to say this, but I’m going to anyway: this cutaway barrel can never again be used as an actual rifle barrel. It is de-milled. BONUS: included free with this item are 2 pieces of National Rifle and Pistol Match memorabilia from Camp Perry, Ohio. This will be in the form of stickers and/or a commemorative hat pin. Payment: EBay policy . Payment expected with in two days. Shipping: Flat rate $10.95. This item will be shipped within two business days of payment. I will ship Internationally. Returns: no returns accepted. Item sold as is. No worries, you’ll be happy with this item. Just check my Feedback! Feedback: I leave feedback after it is left for me. Thank you for looking!
