Description: History of several cutting edge fighter designs pushed by the German Air Ministry in the final days of World War II. Covers the Blohm & Voss BV.212, Heinkel P.1087C, Junkers EF 128, Messerschmitt P.1101, Focke-Wulf Ta-183 and Henschel Hs P.135 projects, most of which did not progress beyond wind tunnel models tests, however, they contributed significantly to the advance of the aerodynamic studies and some of the innovative concepts were fundamental to post-WWII aircraft development. One of several volumes from the Osprey X-planes series that I collected prior to realizing that there was too much overlap with other books in my collection. Nice books with 80 pages on these generally lesser known subjects. Good photos supplemented with artwork in the usual Osprey style. Remember to check out my other book sales for opportunities to combine shipping. These are all books from my own collection built up over many years but now it’s time to reduce the stock (and make room to buy more books!).
