Description: Here is a rare saucer made by the Ludwigsburg factory in the eighteenth century, molded with scale formations on the wide rim. This would make a nice mate to your orphaned cup if the molding matches. It is almost 5 inches in diameter. It’s not perfect. There’s a chip to the footrim and some wear to the flower decoration, and the gilt rim is noticeably worn. This is a rare shape and very typically Ludwigsburg.
