Description: This circa-1971 stereo LP from Sitmar Cruises (GAL-007), Sounds of Mexico, is a collection of traditional songs all performed by Los Tres Bohemios: Juan Lopes Portillo T. (lead vocal & guitar), Pedro Uribe Millan (lead vocal, guitar & requinto) and Otilio Garcia Jimenez (vocal, harp, requinto & tambourine). There are no album notes beyond the titles of the songs. This album was published by Sitmar Vacation Cruises and apparently sold on their cruise liners T.S.S. Fairsea and T.S.S. Fairwind, prominently displayed on the front and back of the album. The two liners' years of service together for Sitmar under those names overlap from 1971 through 1987, and this record was probably issued early in the 1970s as a promotion. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
