Description: LATE 1800‘S ANTIQUE ORNATE CAST BRONZE MATCHBOX HOLDER This Ornate Cast Bronze Matchbox Holder #1166 was made by Bradley & Hubbard between 1890-1900. Its 4 1/2” tall, 5” wide across the 3 footed 5 point rococo base. The matchbox holder is made in 3 parts, the 2 shield shaped outer plates and the inner block, a cardboard matchbox was originally slid over the inner block and left partially opened revealing the wooden matches and the strikers on the sides.
