Description: A stunning string of large freshwater pearls, the pearls are slightly oval shaped and are quite bright with strong iridescence. The pearls have very minor surface blemishes but the high level of lustre means it is not noticeable. The strand is 50cm long and the individual pearls are approximately 12mm x 10mm at the front graduating down to 11mm x 9mm at the back, finished off with a coffee bean clasp. The necklace has not been worn, it is in new, excellent condition however the box is slightly marked on the inside. Comes with certificate and marketing booklet but it is in Chinese. Freshwater pearl farming is becoming more sophisticated with better results in terms of size, colour and intensity of the nacre. At the same time there has been a huge surge in making pearls trendy so prices are going up.
