Description: Amethyst hand blown glass purple fish figurine or bottle. This is a unique piece of empoli blown artwork in the shape of a flying fish. I don’t know where it was made suggestive of Italy. The side fins,tail, bottom resting attachment, and eyes are all applied glass. The way the mouth is formed it looks like this may be intended as a small holder or bottle. It has a few bubbles in the glass. There are a couple of imperfections in the glass as shown in one of the photos. Very pretty color purple. There are no chips cracks or other issues. It is well balanced and does not rock. The fish measures 14 1/2 inches long. The tip of the tail is the highest point at 6 1/2 inches high.
