Description: For sale is a rare nutcracker in the form of a wizard, produced by the Kunstgewerbe-Werkstätte Olbernha (KWO) workshop in Germany and distributed by Old World Christmas. Figure measures about 9.5" tall and features a purple painted robe and hat with blue trim and accented with runes painted in gold; the figure is also holding a wand in his left hand and has a white beard and hair. This is in fair to good condition as shown, looks very nice on display with a few spots of missing paint (mostly at base) but has an arm that comes off and there are a couple of accessories missing (there originally was an owl and a book in his right hand). I'm not sure if the arm was supposed to be articulated so I have not tried to repair it, the joint pin is still present and it can easily still rest in the shoulder on its own but can fall out if handled.
