Item Description: This auction is for an old knife/dagger that was recently purchased from a local estate with a large group of military commando and fighting knives. This knife measures 10" long overall with a blade length of about 5.6". The blade is marked J. Nowill & Sons, Sheffield England, Established AD 1700, it also has what looks like * D to the left of the words and two crossed keys to the right of the words. The blade shows some wear with some small scratches and some tarnish specks here and there. The very tip looks like it is dinged a little. The brass colored guard piece has numerous scratches and small dings. The wood handle also has a few scratches and dings as well. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition.
