The Morning Glory V4 features Volume, Drive, Tone, and Gain switches.The Drive control increases distortion in a clockwise direction. Turning this control up also slightly enhances the treble at the same time.The Tone control is a basic high-pass filter. Clockwise turns the tone brighter. Counterclockwise turns the tone darker.The Gain toggle switch allows you to set a new boost mode. This mode is powerful and emphasizes the low end; you can also turn up the Drive knob to create an even higher gain sound. The LED turns red in boost mode.The Gain toggle switch can be remotely controlled using a latch-type footswitch connected to the terminal on the side. A mono plug can be connected to the red terminal on the side and controlled by a latch-type footswitch. When a plug is connected to this terminal, the Gain toggle switch on the unit is disabled.
