The pads are the copper springy type. I played about 30 seconds of each track on my 8 Track player and worked great in my player. My player is a very nice, clean player though. If your player has worn out heads or is not adjusted right, chances are this will not work right for you. SOLD AS IS. I DO RECOMMEND YOU SERVICING THIS TAPE. IS OLD AND PADS DRY OUT AND IN SOME CASES ARE COMPLETLY GONE OVER TIME. A NEW SPLICE AND ROLLERS LUBED ARE RECOMMENDED AS WELL. FREE SHIPPING. Ask any questions you may have before bidding.
