Description: I am selling off most of my sketches, signed comics, and memorabilia from the 1993 San Diego Comic Con, which was my first time attending SDCC as a teen. I had the pleasure of meeting pretty much the entire cast of Image Comics artists which included Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, Travis Charest, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino, Whilce Portacio, and many more awesome artists. This sketch was drawn with I believe a liquid gold paint pen or gold sharpie type pen, drawn on comic backing board and signed by Jeff. Matsuda was discovered by Rob Liefeld after submitting some Wildcats samples pages to Liefeld's Extreme Studios and Jim Lee's Wildstorm. However, Matsuda's first published artwork, depicting the X-Force character Cable, appeared in the letter art section of Wizard Magazine.
