Description: Volume still has original flyer inside from the International Collectors Library that says, among other things..."This edition contains every poem [Rudyard Kipling] ever wrote, including thirteen new ones which have never appeared in book form in the United States."Considering the copyright date is 1940 and Rudyard Kipling died in 1936, that statement may still be true! The binding is called "The Marie Antoinette Replica Binding" with her "magnificent coat of arms...the symbol of France united with that of Austria" The replica edition is "...bound in richly grained soft tan...with 24K gold embossing, its top edges burnished with real gold, and a silk ribbon marker. There is a crack between the front cover and the spine at both the top and the bottom. Please look carefully at photos.
