The kit enables the user to heat and release seized nuts & bolts and other metallic hardware from corrosion and/or thread lock compounds. Mini-ductor coils are manufactured in an assortment of lengths and sizes to fit a variety of applications. The essential coil kit is a collection of our most-used smaller diameter coils. The Essential Coil Kit accessory works in conjunction with the Mini-Ductor Series Induction Heaters. It is plated to eliminate oxidation and guarantee contact and is designed to last several hundred uses or more (subject to type of use). The Essential Coil Kit is designed to help safely and quickly heat and release small-diameter seized nuts and bolts and other metallic hardware from corrosion and thread lock compounds and manufactured in varying lengths. Safer than torches - Utilizes induction heat that has a precise, localized heat and no open flame which reduces chances of catching something on fire, enhances workplace safety, and minimizes damage to the surrounding work area. The coils are all flexible and can be bent to your desired configuration to reach hard corners or buried deep near plastics or rubber, or separated for a wider range of applications. The coils are specially coated to resist abrasion but, if insulation is breached, a new coil will need to be used.
