(also known as AUX Cable) Please ensure your headset conforms with CTIA standards: microphone type: electret condenser microphone Most headsets these days conform with CTIA standards. Please check the specs for your headset or check with a multi meter. - Pin 2 to Pin 3 should show low resistance <100 ohm.- Pin 2 to Pin 4 should show similar low resistance <100 ohm. Usage: * Ensure the 705 is powered off.* Plug your headset into the black 3.5mm jack on the adaptor board.* Plug the 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable into the pink socket on the adaptor board and plug the 2.5mm end into the 705's mic port. * Plug the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable into the green socket on the adaptor board and plug the 3.5mm end into the 705's speaker port. In the 705's set menu you will need to go to "Connectors" and "SP Jack Function" set this to Phone (L+R) - Whilst in the set menu "Connectors" check that the "Mic jack 8V Output" is OFF. You will need to make adjustments to the mic gain to get the desired audio level, in my case using the Jabra 40 i have Mic Gain of 60% and Compression set to 3 (Works well for me - your mileage may vary) 73
