The yarn label has the “3” symbol, and it works up the same as other DK weight yarns. Please see all the photos of this yarn, as they are the best description of this yarn. The last photograph of this yarn shows a spot in the yarn where the tweed is extra thick in that area. This to me, is an imperfection in the skein of yarn. The yarn does not have any other areas, where the tweed is that thick, anywhere else on the skein. It will be up to you to cut that section out, or keep it to add interest to your project.
