Description: We are offering an old Hudiedao sword from China. This is one of a pair of swords. The other half we don’t have. Blade - right hand sword of the pair. Chisel ground, sharpened on the right side. A few nicks to the edge. Rough area towards the tip (see photo). Hilt - a section of the crossguard that covers the tang on the left side has broken off (see photo). Despite the broken area, it’s solid. Nicely carved wooden grip with a half-ovoid cross section. Flat on one side. Brass ferrule on both ends are solid. No movement between the blade, crossguard and grip. No scabbard.
