Description: The 'Ice Cream Blonde' Thelma Todd was found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning in 1932. Years later director Roland West finally admitted to accidentally killing Todd by locking her in the cold garage to teach her a lesson. In Kenneth Anger's book, "Hollywood Babylon", he explains all the others rumors that were swirling around about her foul play. The original painting was from an exhibition called "Hollywood Eats Its Own: Rumors, Death, and Scandal in Tinseltown" created by pulp surrealist David Russell Talbott, signed on the bottom right by the artist. The print measures 8" x 10", giclée on canvas, 7/8" deep, black frame included. Talbott has shown his work across the U.S., and his art has been published internationally. His paintings have been recognized by the curators from MOMA, MOCASD, and the Whitney, as well as Lowbrow institution like La Luz de Jesus Gallery's Billy Shire and art critic Mat Gleason.
