Description: Viburnum edule, aka squashberry, mooseberry, highbush cranberry, is a popular wild land berry in the North. This offering is for cuttings taken from wild growing plants in winter dormancy. Some gardening skill is required to root them from cuttings. To propagate plants via cuttings dip the cuttings in rooting hormone then plant and keep them hydrated. It is in the after care which most people fail . If you only visit your garden once or twice a month this is not a good method for you. I will have fully rooted and mature plants cut down to shipping size in the spring. The snow load is currently too deep to harvest any more rooted plants this year.
