Description: Based on info I found on the manufacture stamp, this tool chest likely dates from 1940-1959. It has been somewhat restored with new felt, corner hardware, lock, and some other parts. Felt could use a touch of glue in some corners. The pin mechanism to hold the drop down front in place, works. However, the drop down front piece will fall down when the top is opened. Where the drop down front connects to the box, there is wear on the left side as seen in the photos. It all still engages. Some separation of the side of the chest with the bottom is seen in photo as well. There is no play. Its solid! Overall, a moderately worn but solid machinist tool chest. As with all items I ship which are large or fragile, all care will be taken to assure the tool chest arrives in the same condition you see here!
