Description: This uncirculated 100 Guinean syli note is part of the first series of Guinean syli banknotes introduced by the Central Bank of Guinea in 1971 and signed by Finance Minister Ismael Toure and Central Bank Governor Lamine Conde. It is a purple note that measures 169 mm x 91 mm. Its obverse side features the portrait of l’Almamy Samory of the Wassoulou Empire. Its reverse side depicts two dump trucks and steam shovels at an open pit bauxite mine. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a dove watermark.
