Description: Grillby Metallfabrik Pair of Candlesticks Nos. 84 Brass & Wood c.1900's Sweden About the Candlesticks On offer are a pair of Grillby Metallfabrik, Nos. 84, brass & wood candlesticks created at the beginning of the 20th century in Sweden. The candlesticks are in excellent vintage condition and bear a backstamp and number, as well as some writings. There are some small stains on the brass which may come out if you decide to clean them. The wood has no damage at all - amazing for its age. The wood appears blackened, a familiar practice at that time. This particular candlewood set is a rare find - both for its particular style, fabric and time period. These candlesticks sell well at auction.
