Description: For sale is a vintage Reuge music box. This is a lovely, 6 tune model. The teeth on the comb are rather large, creating almost a bell like sound when played. It plays six different songs : Lullaby / Brahms, Serenata / Braga, Poet and Peasant / Suppe, Tales of Hoffman (Bacarolle I think) / Offenbach, Waltz / Brahms, and Student Prince / Romberg. It plays beautifully and properly although it may be a hair slow if anything. It’s cased in a gorgeous wooden inlay box. One of the wooden pieces inside is stamped indicating a manufacture date of August 1967. It has a few tiny dings to the box and some small marks, but overall I would say it’s in very nice shape for its age. It measures approximately 7 7/8” x 4 3/8” x 3”. This is a fantastic quality music box and it would be a great addition to any collection!
