Description: This is one of Gilbert’s carriage clocks being sold for restoration or parts. It looks like it’s going to require glass in one side and the rear door is missing. The movement is untested, but the springs are holding. I’m sure a cleaning will be in order. The dial is original and looks pretty good. I think the finish will clean up with a gentle washing. All of the hands are present. This clock requires a key to wind that springs. It’s a nice early clock that will require a mostly straight forward restoration and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
