Description: From the far future comes the Galactic Cruiser model rocket kit from Bad Boy Rocketry. 19" long, 1.64" (BT-60) diameter, 24mm motor mount for "D" and "E" power. The Galactic Cruiser is designed as an interplanetary transport to get you to your destination in style. This rocket is simple to build and can fly on any 24mm motor from C11-3 to E12-6. (C and D motors require a spacer-not included) Kit includes one-piece body tube, plastic nose cone and tail cone, six tube fins, motor tube, engine block, engine hook, laser-cut, plywood centering rings, and Kevlar shock cord. This kit does not include a parachute. A 12" plastic chute is recommended and is sold separately in our store if you need one. This rocket requires nose weight to fly properly. 1.5 ounces of clay was used in the prototype (clay is not included). It is up to you to properly balance your rocket before flight. Always check that your rocket balances at least 2 inches in front of the tube fins with the motor in place before flying. Please observe all NAR safety rules when flying this, or any rocket.
