Top flaps may be missing or tattered and torn. The envelopes may be taped back together. Any tape on the envelope front or back covers a sticky area. There may be writing, stains and or markings on the envelope, pattern pieces or in the instructions. I make sure that a used/cut pattern has all the pattern pieces. I consider a pattern new when the pattern pieces are still in the original factory folds and all the instruction sheets and the envelope are present. Please contact me if you have any questions.
