Description: Twelve hatching Speckled Olive Egger chicken eggs per order. A dozen fertile chicken eggs, ready for incubating. We breed them specifically to produce green eggs with speckles. Our line was created using a Whiting True Blue rooster paired with his flock of Welsummer hens and Black Copper Marans. Both breeds of moms lay brown speckled eggs. Included in the photos you can see brown Welsummer and BCM eggs that the girls lay and blue eggs that are laid by the Whiting True Blue breed. These breeds combined results in daughters that lay Olive eggs with interesting speckles as pictured. Your chicks that you hatch from our eggs will lay the speckled olive eggs. The chicks that had a BCM as a mother often hatch with feathers on their legs. Our hens are fed only the highest quality extra high protein feeds combined with extra nutritious starter chick feed and mixed with layer feed to give your eggs the very healthiest start possible. No cheap scratch grains are ever fed to our girls. The health and nutrition of the parents is of great importance to the development of your hatching chicks and we take that seriously. Eggs are individually padded, separated, and packed well to protect from any cracks in shipping. Hatch rate cannot be guaranteed. Once they leave here, we have no control over problems during transport, rough handling, or improper incubation.
