Description: Fao Schwarz Little Red Doll. This doll was created for Sarah Ferguson's charity "Chances for Children" located on the 101st floor of World Trade Center Tower One, the charity had helped thousands of children in need. Much of the funding was generated by the sale of this doll, before 911 this doll was not well recognized. However... After Sept 11 Little Red was suddenly transformed into the most significant doll in the world: a small ray of optimism on the darkest day in this country's history. I have included magazine article on photos but (Magazine IS NOT INCLUDED) Also, one of these Little Red Dolls is housed in the September 11th, Museum in New York. This doll is brand new she was bought when FAO Schwarz was closing their doors and was brought out of one of Fao's storage warehouses. Dolls have been kept in individual ziplock bags in storage containers. (I knew the value of the doll and her story when I purchased, I have kept them mint).
