Epiphyllum 'Liberace' Rooted Cutting

Description: Epiphyllum 'Liberace' An extremely rare Richard Klug hybrid from 2013 with flashy flowers worthy of its namesake. The extra-large blooms have bright orange inner petals with pink midstripes, and outer petals that are light orange. The colors of this stunning variety are difficult to describe, as the colors change throughout the day, and change with the lighting - the flowers just have to be seen! The overlapping petals are in a funnel-form, on plants with mostly flat and some three-angled growth. A cross of 'Fiesta de Flores' x 'Orchid Masterpiece', this sensational hybrid is definitely among my favorites! (And now a disclaimer: This hybrid has shiny, very brittle leaves that snap quite easily. It also can be quite temperamental to grow. And, for those with snail and slug issues, this one is a magnet, so be vigilant...) I received my original cuttings from the late Robert Kuettle, and since getting them, I've not seen any other vendor offer this rare variety! This offering is for one well-rooted and established cutting, with new growth showing or beginning to show, in a 3 1/4" pot - similar to what may be seen in the photos. This is not a full plant but, rather, a well-rooted cutting that is just beginning to show signs of new growth, or new growth is already developing. If you don't want to have to wait for a cutting to root, this will save you a few steps and time. The rooted cutting you will receive is healthy and true to name (and may show a few nicks and dings).
