Ebbetts Field was home to Flatbush's favorite residents, the Brooklyn Dodgers. ~ 828002 Commemorative postcard issued in 1982 by baseball hobby pioneer Ray Mederios Ray Mederios is a baseball collector who dealt with our hobby's pioneers or with those who did. He was present at the first unofficial national convention (1970) and was friend of many an old-timer. In the early 1980s Ray issued postcards of one of his favorite subjects: old baseball ballparks. This postcard is one of those Ray issued under the banner, WAY BACK WHEN... Card size is standard postcard size - approximately 5-1/2" by 3-1/2". Cards of this size fit comfortably in 4-pocket collector sheets. Vintage baseball stadium postcards (including commemoratives like this Way Back When card) complement any serious collector's holdings and provide a peek at a past era. Condition: Excellent - check the high-resolution scans, front and back; this is the actual card the buyer will receive.
