There is a line that could appear to be a small crack at the corner of the green base, but it is believed to be an imperfection in production since it does not catch a fingernail passing over it either way. Due to the size of the lampshade, it is not being sold with the lamp. It was kept on for the first image to show what it looks with a large shade.
