Description: Rare, EARLY Antique 1853 Engraved Print, General Nathaniel P. BanksGreat engraved painting of him in full dress uniform, with sword, and fancy hat. He was a general during the Civil War and was in charge of the Red River Campaign, Galveston, and other Louisiana operations. Very nice print, and subject measures about 5 1/2" x 7 1/2, increased to 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 by the border. NICE FACSIMILE SIGNATURE AND DATE INFO AT THE BOTTOM. A little foxxing at one edge, but very good condition overall.A gorgeous piece, quite suitable for framing, and a great collectable decoration for a variety of Civil War collections.
