Description: For Sale is one medal commemorating Dwight D. Eisenhower as Supreme Allied Commander and the 40th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. The medal is colorized, with the bust of Eisenhower on the Obverse and the "double eagle" on the Reverse taking on a gold/bronze/copper coloration. Between the eagles' wingtips, on the right-hand side of the coin, are two "E's" of whose significance I am unaware. I must apologize for carelessly photographing the Reverse with the text upside-down. For your assistance, the text reads "* WWII * Normandy Landing * 12:15 AM 6 June 1944". As can be seen on the Obverse, the piece exhibits some minor imperfections. I am unsure as to this medal's composition, fineness, issuer, or rarity. See the pictures and judge for yourself!
