Description: Bought a pair of these 117's to compliment my dbx 118. I was going to mod one of the 117's but can't bring myself to, sounds too good as-is. Just need a 119 now ;) This dbx 117 works perfectly and sounds fantastic! No issues with the electronics, quiet and less noise than the 118 model. No hums, buzzes or anything. All original components, not messed with at all. Early model with the super nice metal knobs instead of black plastic ones the later models have. I put it on test equipment and compared it to my other 117 and 118. Both 117's perform the same, correctly, and are much quieter than the 118. Always keep them in my power conditioned and climate controlled studio and run at least once a month to keep the capacitors in good condition. There are some light scratches on the front, I had to angle the face to the light, just right, to get them to show up in the photo. Sold as-is, no returns.
