He also appeared in "Black Oxen" with Clara Bow & Corinne Griffith (1924), "Flirting With Love" (1924) and "Dancing Mothers" with Alice Joyce (1926). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Lost Zeppelin" (1929), "The Truth About Youth" with Loretta Young & Myrna Loy (1930) and the John Wayne western "The Hurricane Express" (1932). He also appeared in "The King Murder" with Natalie Moorhead (1932), "Vanity Fair" with Myrna Loy (1932) and "Fifteen Wives" (1934). In the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in "Sing Sing Nights" (1934), the adventure "Stingaree" (1934) with Irene Dunne and "The Headline Woman" (1935). He also appeared in "Desert Guns" (1936), "Klondike Annie" (1936) with Mae West and the Leslie Howard dramatic adaptation "Romeo and Juliet" (1936). Tearle last acted in the mystery "The Preview Murder Case" (1936) with Reginald Denny. Tearle was married to Adele Rowland.
