Dye lot changes are abrash and not damage ! A BARGAIN NOT A TYPICAL EBAY CARPET ! 35 years in this business.Quite a rug here with the unusual color around the center medallion. Shows even wear, a few tiny wear spots (showing) and some what crooked at the one end as seen in the photos. The ends have been rebuilt. Other areas of professional repiling which is expected in a rug of this age. Selvage is good. Rug is clean, no odors and is very flexible. This fine rug was always a thin carpet. Amazing condition after 130 to 140 years. Bought this from Schrewsbury Museum close out sale several years ago. Had in my home for years. A wonderful size and rare size in an antique oriental rug.
