Description: cattleya-C. loddigesii 'Izzy' HCC/AOS x 'Teteia' AM/AOS Fragrant. Flowers of Cattleya loddigesii are long-lived and have a pleasant, waxy substance. Color is a uniform light pink magenta with a distinctive, bell-shaped lip. Flowers develop on a 12" stem that emerges from a dried sheath. The flower spike has between two to six flowers (occasionally nine). Medium sized bifoliate cattleya with long, leathery leaves. Brazilian native, summer bloomer, likes it warm and humid. Grown from seed, the plants in this listing are currently in 4" pot with bark showing healthy roots, vigor and new growth. Bloom photos represent breeding parentage &/or resulting x's.
