Description: C1780 ANTIQUE 18thC CHINESE EXPORT QIANLONG FAMILLE ROSE MANDARIN PORCELAIN BOWL Description:An antique Chinese export famille rose porcelain bowl, dating to the late 18th Century Qianlong period (1736-1795).The outer surface of the bowl are hand painted in overglaze polychrome enamels in the famille rose palette, with opposing scenes of ladies, children and a scholarly man in a garden, amongst a coastal backdrop. Smaller vignettes in between feature birds above a smaller with a landscape in iron red. The inner bowl with a small lotus flower painted in puce. The outer rim is finished with a fleur de lys border in gilt. The underside is glazed, with a raised unglazed foot rim. The stand is for demonstration purposes and not include.
