As such you will need to send your old Chart Card to our address so that your old chart card can be reprogrammed prior to dispatch. Hence the dispatch lead time is set to allow good time for your original chart card to arrive. In reality orders are usually processed quicker than this provided the original chart card arrives with us in a timely manner. Final note: NT+ areas on Black C-Cards and Grey FP-Cards are discontinued and we are no longer able to offer NT+ updates • • • • Through this item you will be able to order an update or exchange of your old C-Map Electronic Chart Card.IMPORTANT ( Older NT charts can not be used for updates anymore ) MAX have a M e.g. (M-EW-M226), NT+ codes have a C e.g (M-EW-C021) before the Numbers, NT codes have a B e.g. (M-EW-B038) , You will need to send us your old chart card first, and we will then either reprogram your existing chart card, or replace it for you if a bigger memory size is required to take the new chart data for the current area that you require. We will then return the latest version of the current WIDE area of your choice. Remember once ordered you'll need to send us your old card to our business address shown in our seller details section and we will need to know which area you require. If we do not have all the information that we require to carry out the update or exchange or if there is a problem with the chart card we will endeavor to contact you to confirm the detailsRemember if you have changed chart plotters and now have one that requires a different card type, then you are able to change card formats as part of the update or exchange order processWhen making your payment please add note to seller of the new chart code required or Include this with your old chart card when sent in for updating.We recommend using a tracked form of post or courier service, Pack the chart securely as we can not offer updates or exchanges on charts that do not arrive with us or are damaged in the postYour original chart card must be in working condition to be able to be updated or exchanged, if it is not in a serviceable condition we will advise accordingly as this will usually cause a new chart to be Purchased at additional costsIn most instances you will receive the new chart data back on the same chart card that you sent to us and the chart card update. When sending old chart cards for Update / Exchange please pack the chart card carefully in a small padded mail envelope and not in a letter envelope. Also consider using a tracked and insured delivery service as we can not offer the Update or Exchange if we do not receive your old chart card. On return we will inspect and test the unit, once we have verified the fault we will issue you with a refund or replacement, whichever you would prefer. Goods which develop a fault during the manufacturer warranty period: If your goods develop a fault after 14 days, then provided your product is within its warranty period (normally 1 or 2 years) then we can arrange a repair under the manufacturer warranty. Goods which have been damaged in Transit: If your goods have been damaged in transit, please contact us ideally as soon as you receive the item but within 7 days of receipt. If you can see the damage before opening the parcel (eg damaged box) then if you can advise the courier and sign to say it is damaged. Once the goods have been returned to us we will arrange a refund to your original payment method or a replacement, whichever you would prefer.
