The map is oriented with North to the right and is decorated with numerous rhumb lines, coats of arms and an ornate cartouche and milage scale. Part of the Normandy coastline is also included with soundings, sandbars and fishing banks identified. It was published in Amsterdam in 1665. Cartographer / engraver: Hendrik Doncker Condition: Generally very good condition. Minor age spotting, largely confined to the margins. Professional repair at the base of the sheet (at and to the left of the centrefold - see image 7). Subtle contemporary hand colouring.
