Description: Offered to you is this large and vintage 1950's 12 3/8" - 12 1/2" Cake Serving or Chop/Steak Plate (Round Platter) by Linden Fine China made in Japan in the 1950's in the LACE pattern TM1003. It features eleven (11) raised (embossed) white scroll cartouches on the rim with white etch flowers and leaves on a white background. This pattern covers the entire 2 7/8" rim which rim is lined with a thin platinum silver line near the verge and a wider platinum silver line on the edge. It is in very good condition with just a pinpoint size, hard to see faint gray sand dot in the porcelain made in manufacture. Very similar to the Brentwood Linden Lace pattern but the raised flowers and cartouches are a little different on that one and would go well with those. This would make a beautiful serving plate for the wedding cake or a gift for the bride. Also could be used for serving meat or steaks. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.
