Includes original plaid cover to protect the umbrella during storage. Oversized umbrella has an extra large canopy measuring 51"; with a 36" Owens / Corning Fiberglas stem and early red "bicycle grip" handle with 2" chrome finial (38" when closed) The 1974 tournament was won by Hubert Green and celebrities attending the Desert Classic star-studded events included Bob Hope, Dean Martin, Burt Lancaster, Jack Benny, Truman Capote, Barbara Eden, Joey Heatherton, and Charro, among others. Other PGA pro contestants included Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller, Lee Trevino, Lee Elder, Bob Murphy, Mark Hayes, Bert Yancey (runner-up) and many more of the game's top golfers.
