Description: This classy three teared ivory lace dress is sleeveless. (spaghetti type straps) There are no tags of any kind on the garment. It was possibly made during the war time in the 1940,s before garment tags were required. I believe it is cotton lace on cotton lining. Each tear is sewed on separately. It is such a lovely dress and so detailed. Here are some specs I came up with. Condition: very good - no damage to dress. It does need to be cleaned as it has a bit of a musty smell an traces of make-up along neckline - hardly noticeable - but there, and under arm a very small trace. Measurement from shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 15.3 inches, bust size is 31" as best I can measure. Waist is 25". My guess is it is closest to size 0 in the US today. There is a steel side zipper that works great and in good shape. The tears form a full skirt. Shoulder straps are hand sewed. This would have been a wealthy ladies' summer tea/party dress back in the day. I love the beauty of the dress and it history. If you have any questions - please contact me.
