Description: What you're mostly getting is a nice warm clean soapy after shave type scent. the opening is sharp with fresh spicey lemon that goes away after awhile making way for a earthy lavender along with a star anise and silky iris in the back that can be interpreted as slightly metallic. Going into the mid it becomes predominantly musky and woody with a slightly juniper cardamon combo. The opening is actually the most interesting part of the fragrance. The mid lasts a while but it is a bit muted. Before it fully dries down the base does push through early carrying the mid by itself the vetiver/sandal/patchouli/cedar become one musky wood accord. The cardamon is dosed a bit more and interestingly it also has a bit of a ''white hotel soap'' effect. Once it fully dries down. the classic oakmoss/leather base with a slight powdery hint from tonka is noticed with a total expression of classic fougere. Azzaro pour Homme was created by Gerard Anthony and Richard Wirtz Top notes are Lavender, Lemon, Caraway, Basil, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Iris and Star Anise, Middle notes are Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedar, Patchouli, Juniper Berries and Cardamom, Base notes are Oakmoss, Leather, Amber, Musk and Tonka Bean.
