Description: This charming antique film negative captures a scene, likely from the 1920s of a group of more than a dozen boys. The boys are dressed in woolen knickers and sweaters. Some wear large newsboy hats. Four of them are wearing painters caps advertising the Sewall Paint & Varnish Co., a midwestern company that ceased to exist independently around mid-century. Negative is shown as photographed on a light board. There is some damage to the bottom edge of the celluloid in the border area, but it does not extend into the image itself. The positive image is just shown for reference. Please review provided photos for final word on condition.
