A lovely polychrome fixture made by the J.C. Virden company, and from our research we find that this is the Churchill line, and the design is called Aldersyde (very similar to their Winthrop design) The porcelain sockets have all been cleaned and tested and are working well. She has been freshly rewired from the center to the ceiling with vintage style cloth cord, and her wires reinsulated from the sockets to the center. Working light switch on the base of the chandelier for versatility. She is made of cast ironThe hand painted details are stunning She uses 5 standard-base light bulbs - the bulbs shown are not included, they are just examples.
