Antique Vintage Effanbee Anne Shirley Little Lady Composition Doll EXCELLENT

Description: Wow! This isn't the Ebay Junker Anne Shirley at all. This is a beautiful doll with a couple small repairs. This is an 18inch Anne Shirley with the desirable hard rubber / paratex arms. She has original dress with sock and shoes. ( No undies, whoops! ) She has a beautiful wig that's in near perfect set; I've kept it in a hairnet ever since I got her some 15 years ago. I have not ran a filter over that composition; it is as smooth and buttery as it looks. She has a few small craze lines but they're super hard to see; she is in unusually good condition. Paint is excellent, she's just got one bump to her features, she photos. Her eye lashes are great; not missing sections. Now to what's up with her; she is one of my early lens replacement girls; her irises were shattered when I got her, and I removed them and installed new lenses. They are a fractionally small amount too high on the plateau for where her lenses are supposed to sit ( the mechanism for Anne Shirley is different than Dydee, Wendy, Scarlett, the Dewees girls, etc, where the lens slides into a pocket ) and so her eyes stick just a bit opening and closing but they do open and close. You just got to bop the back her head a little, and of course on display you would never know. She was also missing an index finger when I got her; but she's been properly repaired with a correct paratex finger from a donor arm that was in worse shape than her own own, so it doesn't show up real well unless you know to look for it. She's not a perfect doll, but she's certainly a very nice and beautiful doll. She will be packed in an appropriately sized box; with lots of space and packing; wrapped in paper or tissue against her as not to damage her paint in transit. I apologize for high shipping quotes; the calculator seems to be a little cranky right now. I only ever charge my buyers actual shipping and refund if there is excess. Right now a lot of dolly buyers don't understand why shipping is so high, but these taller dolls have to go in oversized boxes in order give them some hope to survive a fall or a drop. I pack my boxes really well and I always ensure there's at least an inch or more space between the box and the doll in any direction.
