Antique Vintage Doll Pattern HU107 by Hazel Ulseth Underwear & Shoes 24" doll new Little Girl's Costumes was the last (1992) of Hazel's individual pattern sets. HU107 underwear and shoes includes "five pieces of underwear included in this pattern are designed to be used with ladies' dresses worn during the latter part of the Victorian era. The chemise is a simple garment, has short sleeves, is gathered at the neck, opening in the front. The drawers pattern is designed so it can be made with straight legs or with a side opening at the knee. A ban holds the ruffle in place. To replace the many petticoats that were worn during those years, an under petticoat has been designed to help hold out the fancy petticoat as well as the dress skirt. The fancy petticoat with its A line front skirt has a full back that is sewn to the ban using cartridge pleating. The hem is finished with a lace trimmed ruffle. Instruction for the Bustle are included although the wired bustle worn in the 1880s faded out of style by the 1900s. An added bonus is the shoe pattern designed by Hazel Ulseth specifically for the 18 1/2" lady body. This pattern is designed to fit a 24 inch doll with a body measuring 18 1/2 inches.
