Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. This Victorian wooden hand or kitchen towel holder is also a pretty scene to brighten up a kitchen or bathroom. The print is of a cottage scene. The wood is painted gold with dark green. The back is gold as well. There is a dark orange line around the glass that is on top of the print. This line is actually paper. There are turned knobs that hold the towel bar. This hanging towel holder is 9-7/8" wide x 5-3/4" tall x 1-1/4" deep. This would be wonderful in a farmhouse chic kitchen holding a kitchen towel. It would be perfect to hang over a toilet or close to the bathroom sink. It would look lovely in a French Country, Victorian, or farmhouse chic house. It is from the 1920s or even earlier. It is very versatile!! This towel holder has been used. There are some paint chips on the turned knobs and a couple by the two holes where the nails would go.
